92% participation increase of businesses in the JOBmatch 2.0 by DYPA
The JOBmatch 2.0 by DYPA app continues to win the trust of businesses and citizens, ensuring that employers from the tourism and hospitality sectors are directly and effectively connected with jobseekers.
In just two months since the launch of the upgraded JOBmatch 2.0 the number of business and jobseeker users has almost doubled, an increase of 92% (+2.485) and 38% (+7.348) was recorded respectively.
An impressive increase of 83% was also recorded in the matches reaching 27.282, while the job offers were increased by 36%, with a total of 4.938 registered jobs.
In total, the app has 5.180 business users offering a variety of new jobs in the tourism and hospitality sectors which cover both Athens city centre and suburbs as well as the rest of Greece. At the same time 26.491 candidate users use the platform to look for jobs in these sectors.
Every day more and more businesses publish new jobs at the JOBmatch 2.0 app, with a higher demand for specialties such as waiters (745 jobs), cooks (397), assistant cooks (371), room attendants (355) and baristas (346).
According to the JOBmatch 2.0 latest data the regions with the highest demand for jobs are Rhodes with 327 jobs, Syntagma with 135, Corfu with 109, Kos with 86 and finally Paros with 80.
It is worth mentioning that DYPA activated the JOBmatch app back in March 2024 aiming to respond effectively to the increased need for labour force of the tourism sector.
The upgraded app offers a user friendly and interactive matching process thus improving users' experience and facilitating the prompt response to labour market needs, particularly in the tourism and catering sectors
