Subsidy Programme for new entrepreneurs in Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes, Perama, Keratsini - Drapetsona & Salamina

OBJECTIVE

The programme aims at the promotion of entrepreneurship (self-employment) and the creation of 850 new businesses by unemployed persons in the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes and in the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini - Drapetsona and Salamina.

BENEFICIARIES

Unemployed persons from the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes and in the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini - Drapetsona and Salamina, registered with DYPA's Digital Register who, at the time of application:

• Are aged 18 - 60.

• Have agreed to a digital Individual Action Plan.

• Will establish a business and will activate in the eligible Regional Units.

• Are Greek citizens or citizens of another EU member state or expatriates with the right to stay and work in Greece or third country citizens with a valid residence permit for at least the duration of the programme.

• Have participated in a Business initiative counselling workshop.

• Have completed their military service or have been legally discharged (for male applicants).

DURATION

The subsidy lasts 12 months after the start date of the business activity.

SUBSIDY AMOUNT

The subsidy amounts to €14.800 and is granted in three instalments as follows:

• 1st instalment amounting to €4.000, after the start date of the business activity

• 2nd instalment amounting to €5.400 after the end of the 1st semester from the start date

• 3rd instalment amounting to €5.400 after the end of the 2nd semester from the start date

PROCEDURE

Potential beneficiaries must apply for the programme online and include their business plan proposal, at the link:

Applications for the programme are comparatively evaluated and pre-approved by DYPA executives

• Within 60 days from the pre-approval of the application for programme, the potential beneficiaries start their business activity and submit a supplementary application with their business details in the Single Digital Portal (gov.gr), and more specifically in the link:https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/epikheirematike-drasterioteta/apaskholese-prosopikou/summetokhe-epikheireseon-ergodoton-se-programmata-katartises-anergon

The funding approval decision is issued and the programme starts.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

• Solemn Declaration pursuant to L. 1599/1986, submitted by the beneficiary to the effect that: a) the business they will establish will not have the same business activity with a business formerly operating in the same space from another business person within the last 6-month period prior to the start date of the new business, b) the business will not be established following a transfer or change of legal form or dissolution and/or reopening or creation of a new business or lease by the same partners in the same or different place with the same business activity and c) the business activities of the business do not fall within the exempted scope of Regulation (EU) 2023/2831

• SOLEMN DECLARATION PURSUANT TO L. 1599/1986 REGARDING THE CUMULATION OF DE MINIMIS STATE AIDS UNDER THE REGULATION (EU) 2023/2831 in the ANNEX

• Certificate of military status (for male applicants). Expatriates or citizens of EU countries attach a solemn declaration stating that they are under no obligation to fulfil their military obligations, consequently they are not required to submit a certificate of military status from their country of origin.

Solemn Declarations are submitted validated for authenticity of signature by a Citizen Service Centre (KEP) or other competent authority or through the digital portal gov.gr.
